Calcium Bromide

We are manufacturing Calcium Bromide in Technical, Pure & LR Grade.
These Products are available in 50 kgs Bag/Drum.

Calcium bromide (CaBr2) brine systems are single-salt solutions used to form clear brine work over and completion fluids with densities ranging from 8.4 to 15.3 lbm /galSU [1.0 to 1.8 sg]. The desired density is obtained by either mixing standard 14.2 lbm/galUS [1.7 sg] calcium bromide brine with dry calcium bromide (or water) or by simply mixing dry calcium bromide in water. Calcium bromide brines exhibit lower crystallization points than the corresponding calcium bromide/calcium chloride fluids.

Calcium bromide is the calcium salt of hydrotropic acid. It is a white powder that reacts with water to form the Hexahydrate. CaBr2. It is mainly used as dense aqueous solutions for drilling fluids. It is also used in neuroses medication, freezing mixtures, food preservatives, photography and fire retardants.
